Domes Resorts is a premium hotel group operating internationally-recognised luxury properties — many under the Marriott Autograph Collection and Hilton brands — across Greece and Portugal. The group includes Michelin-rated restaurants and is consistently among the most awarded names in European luxury hospitality. From January 2018 to 2023, Kukarika served as Domes’ core technology partner: designing, building, hosting, and supporting the digital ecosystem behind every property. What started with the Domes of Elounda website grew into a portfolio of 10+ hotel sites, a unified central group platform at domesresorts.com, a WordPress Multisite consolidation, and a dedicated QR-menu + reservations platform for restaurants and activities. At its peak the network served an average of 600K visits per month across four languages.

A growing luxury group with international brand standards (Marriott Autograph Collection, Hilton), multiple properties launching each season, four target markets, and a team that needed to publish brand-perfect content without engineering for every change.

A 5-year, end-to-end engagement covering design partnership, custom WordPress builds for every property, a 2020-2021 Multisite consolidation, a custom QR + restaurant reservations platform, and full hosting + maintenance.

Custom WordPress Per Property

  • New builds from the ground up — starting with Domes of Elounda in 2018 and rolling out across the group

Design Partnerships

WordPress Multisite Consolidation (2020-2021)

  • Migrated 10+ standalone WP sites into a single WordPress Multisite
  • Shared themes, plugins, and content components across every property — one update propagates everywhere
  • Per-site language switching with WPML, while keeping a unified editor experience
  • Massive operational simplification for the Domes content team

QR + Restaurant Reservation Minisites

  • 8 dedicated minisites for restaurants and activities — accessible via in-property QR codes
  • Guests scan to view menus (including for Michelin-rated restaurants), see real-time availability, and book tables / activities online
  • Especially valuable during COVID restrictions when contact-free service became essential
  • Centralised management dashboard plus a custom QR-platform with usage statistics
  • Third-party reservation system integration for restaurant bookings

Four-Language Multilingual

  • EN, DE, FR, PT — each property fully translated
  • Locale-aware navigation, SEO, and structured data per language
