Zinideos is a winery in the Pella prefecture of northern Greece, working three vineyards across the Almopia region and operating two cellars — at Loutraki and at Neromyloi. The estate cultivates native and international varieties — Amassi, Robola, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Malagouzia, Xinomavro, Mavrotragano, and Syrah — and produces a curated range of labels designed to speak to its philosophy through every sip, whether they’re tasted alone or as a blend. The Neromyloi vineyard, established by Zinideos on previously uncultivated land across 30 stremmata, holds a sharp day-to-night temperature swing that gives the grapes a long, slow ripening — and yields reds with striking concentration, complexity, and ageing potential, alongside aromatic whites with characteristic intensity. The website had to honour that terroir story — the Pella land, the three vineyards, the two cellars, the variety encyclopedia, the wines themselves — without ever losing the warmth that makes Zinideos read as a home, not a brand showcase. In collaboration with Blind Studio (design), Kukarika delivered a custom WordPress + ACF platform that brings the vineyards, the cellars, the wines, and the philosophy together under one image-first roof — and gives the Zinideos team direct control over every new vintage as it ships.

A winery whose work is the land, the grape, and the bottle — in that order. The site had to read like the vineyards themselves: image-first, warm, philosophical, grounded in terroir. And it had to keep up with a working winery as new vintages, new labels, and new vineyard updates land each season.

01

Terroir storytelling

Three vineyards across the Pella prefecture, each with its own character — including the previously uncultivated Neromyloi land that Zinideos established from scratch. The site had to give each terroir its own editorial home without flattening the story into a generic "our vineyards" page.

02

Two cellars, one brand

Loutraki and Neromyloi each have their own physical cellar — addresses, photography, atmosphere. The site had to give each location its own identity (including Google Maps deep-links) while keeping the brand reading as one.

03

Wine range with depth

A curated range across whites, rosés, sparkling, and reds — single-variety bottlings (Chardonnay, Syrah, Xinomavro Rosé) alongside expressive blends (Amassi-Sauvignon Blanc, Amassi-Xinomavro, Malagouzia-Chardonnay). Each wine needed its own page with vintage, varieties, and personality.

04

Variety encyclopedia

Native and international varieties — Amassi, Robola, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Malagouzia, Xinomavro, Mavrotragano, Syrah — needed structured presentation so visitors could trace a variety from vineyard, through cellar, to bottle.

05

Warm, philosophical voice

Zinideos talks about its land as "home, refuge, homeland." The voice and typography had to carry that warmth — never glossy, never generic-winery — and let the philosophy come through each page.

06

Working-winery cadence

New vintages, new labels, new vineyard updates land every season. The team needed to manage all of it without engineering involvement — the site had to keep up with the cellar.

07

Image-first presentation

Vineyard, cellar, and bottle photography needed to lead every page — full-bleed, fast, faithful to the Blind Studio system, and uncompromised by the working CMS.

A custom WordPress + ACF platform designed alongside Blind Studio — restrained typography, image-first composition, warm editorial voice. Vineyards, cellars, wines, and varieties each get their own editorial home, and the Zinideos team manages every new vintage and label without code.

Custom WordPress + ACF Platform

  • WordPress + Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for maximum content flexibility
  • ACF Flexible Content blocks for wines, vineyards, cellars, varieties, and editorial features
  • Custom post types for wines, vineyards, cellars, and grape varieties with rich metadata — vintage, varieties, ageing potential, vineyard of origin, tasting notes
  • Editor-friendly back-office that gives the Zinideos team control over composition, not just copy
  • Modular architecture that grows with the cellar — new vintages, new labels, new vineyard updates plug straight in

Design Collaboration with Blind Studio

  • Blind Studio led the visual identity — restrained typography, generous whitespace, photography-led composition
  • Kukarika translated the design into a pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress theme
  • Brand consistency from typography to spacing to bottle treatment, on every screen
  • Mobile-first execution that holds the same precision the winery carries through to the bottle

Vineyards & Terroir Storytelling

  • Dedicated editorial home for each of the three vineyards — including the Neromyloi land Zinideos established from previously uncultivated terrain across 30 stremmata
  • Per-vineyard pages cover climate, soil, varieties grown there, and the story of the land
  • The day-to-night temperature swing, the slow ripening, the resulting wine character — surfaced as part of the narrative, not relegated to a footer fact-sheet
  • Cross-linking from vineyards to varieties to wines — visitors trace any grape from the land through the cellar to the bottle

Cellars Module — Loutraki + Neromyloi

  • Dedicated pages for each cellar — address, atmosphere photography, working context, and a Google Maps deep-link for visitors planning to come in person
  • Each cellar reads with its own identity while sharing the Zinideos brand spine
  • Built to support oenotourism — opening hours, visit information, and contact paths all in the right place
  • A clear "Visit us" entry point on the homepage and in the navigation

Wine Range & Per-Wine Pages

  • Dedicated page per label — Nouvella I & II, Καλή Πεδιάδα, Chardonnay, SUFFRAGETTE, Ξινόμαυρο Ροζέ, COLLECTIONNEUSE, Ευτέρπη, THELEMA, and every release that follows
  • Each wine page combines hero bottle photography, vintage, variety mix, ageing potential, tasting notes, and vineyard of origin
  • Filterable wine archive by colour (white / rosé / sparkling / red), variety, vintage, and vineyard
  • Cross-linking from wines to their constituent varieties and back to the vineyards where the grapes were grown — the full provenance is one click away from any page
  • Stable URLs (e.g. /wines/nouvella-ii/) that hold up across vintage rotations

Variety Encyclopedia

  • A dedicated module covering every variety grown by the estate — native Amassi, Greek Robola, Malagouzia, Xinomavro, Mavrotragano alongside international Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Syrah
  • Per-variety pages cover origin, character, the role the variety plays in the Zinideos range, and the wines that feature it
  • Cross-linked with wines and vineyards — the encyclopedia stays connected to the working cellar, not a parallel reference

Performance & Maintenance

  • Lazy loading and adaptive image delivery tuned for full-bleed vineyard, cellar, and bottle photography
  • Cloudflare CDN delivery so the site loads fast for visitors in Greece and abroad
  • Core Web Vitals tuned so the brand reads as polished on every connection
  • Continuous platform maintenance — updates, security, content support — handled by Kukarika

A digital presence that reads like the land — warm, image-led, terroir-forward — and a platform the Zinideos team runs themselves as vintages, labels, and visitors keep coming.

  • Terroir storytelling — three vineyards across Pella each carry their own editorial home, with Neromyloi's previously-uncultivated land told as the founding chapter it is
  • Two cellars, one brand — Loutraki and Neromyloi each have their own identity (and their own Google Maps link), without splitting the brand
  • Wine range visibility — every label gets its own page with vintage, variety, ageing notes, and provenance back to vineyard
  • Variety provenance — visitors trace any grape from vineyard, through variety, to the bottle on the table
  • Brand voice — the warm, philosophical "this is home" tone comes through every page
  • Team autonomy — new vintages, new labels, new vineyard updates are managed by the Zinideos team without developer involvement
  • Brand consistency — digital experience aligns with Blind Studio's visual system end to end
  • Growth-ready — new wines, new vineyards, new cellar updates plug straight into the existing architecture

// Outcome

The zinideos.gr platform is a digital extension of three vineyards, two cellars, and a winery that talks about its land as home. The same care that goes into Amassi, Xinomavro, Mavrotragano, and Syrah at the vineyard shows up on every wine page; the same warmth that defines Loutraki and Neromyloi as places shows up on every cellar page.

With Blind Studio's visual leadership and Kukarika's modular WordPress + ACF development, the Zinideos team now has a terroir-forward, editor-friendly platform that grows with the cellar — every new vintage, every new label, every new vineyard chapter slotting straight into the home.
